It’s been nearly twenty years since Dr. James Jordan sat down and reflected on his own musical journey. In 1999 he took pen in hand to write The Musician’s Soul. In it he shares the vulnerability  of his personal music making and spiritual core to tap into a far deeper and inspired way of making music.

This video interview by JW Pepper gives more insight into Dr. Jordan’s process and outcomes.

The Musician’s Soul is in print through GIA Publications and may be order directly from the publisher, your favourite music store, or even available in some local University bookstores.
